Hillary’s great coup in the debate was *avoiding* a focus on issues. What does that tell you? anncoulter.com/columns/2016-0…

@kausmickey Trump has been braying birther nonsense for years, what harm that he is hoist on his own petard?
@kausmickey She used all her bullets in the first debate and so did the biased moderator. If he stays on message with authority, she’s done.
@kausmickey Trumps strategy was still correct for D1 though, Hillary has nothing and now everyone knows, Trump will do the rest in D2.
@kausmickey Tells me that lots of voters like Trump’s policies but think he’s a total nut case. Hillary wants to remind them that he’s nuts.
@kausmickey if we are talking issues, trump wins. if we are talking about hillary herself, trump wins too.
@kausmickey Well, she is just the person I want to listen to pontificate about the urgency of cybersecurity..
@kausmickey Holt didn’t ask her one difficult question. All the while needling Trump. Like Crowley with Romney, moderator rattled Trump.

@kausmickey @LaurenHailey201 Jeb didnt do great when the focus was on issues either
It’s not going to get better in the townhall debate. If Trump doesn’t recognize the Democrats are going to plant ringers in that debate and keep up what works, he’s not as bright as I think he is. He needs to have people throwing zingers at him for the next 2 weeks and learn to take those zingers and turn them into policy discussions. It’s not easy for someone whose ego is as big as a mansion, but I think he can learn it.
