Economist John Goodman has had the best analyses of our health care system, ObamaCare, and alternatives to ObamaCare – that I’ve read to date. He has worked in the health care consulting business for the GOP going back to the early 1990s. Helped develop more free-market alternatives to the 1993-94 HillaryCare.
My experiences with relatives supporting nationalized health care: They tend to find any weaknesses with a private enterprise-based system as immediate justification for going to a more nationalized system – rather than just fixing the identified weakness. “Oh, boy! That’s why we need national health care! Rather, than, ‘Hm, if we tweak this, that problem will go away.'”
