What about early voting? Ohio starts 5 weeks before Election Day. Both mail-in absentee ballots and walk-in early balloting. That means those Ohioans who choose one of those options will make up their minds by the end of September. Those votes can be spread across those 5 weeks, of course. Hmm. Does any polling org. do any polling on early voters? Maybe just those who’ve in the clear D or R categories so it doesn’t impact the campaigning very much. How many of those key battleground states have early voting – and how early & what percent in each state? I guess one could look it up pretty easily. (I’m too lazy right now!)
