Media's knives *finally* out for Jared … after he (kinda sorta) releases an immigration plan that seems much better than expected. Lucky I'm not paranoid. … I mean, if you can't count on Jared to sell out Trump on immigration, what's he good for? https://t.co/9FSe6tUxgC

After three retweets, @TweetDeck Tweetdeck blocks #4. Says I've been doing it too much. Is it how often I'm retweeting or what I'm retweeting? Lucky I'm not paranoid.

The last 20 pounds are the hardest to lose. The second 50% increase after a recession's harder than the first, no? Also, Stein's Law.
This chart doesn't seem very damning of Trump's economic stewardship. https://t.co/s4QdeaLm5W

Comey on why he enlisted Mueller's help in 2004 Ashcroft showdown: "[N]o president could weather losing an FBI director." He couldn't? Comey seems to have decidedly flaky political judgment. https://t.co/aMF2vWtIDn via @politicomag

ASSUME A BACKLASH: "Trump's vow this week to impose sweeping tariffs unless that nation curbs unauthorized immigration into the [U.S.] stirred a public backlash." Is there a public backlash? Or does @DavidNakamura just need there to be for his thumbucker? https://t.co/IK24jzzJgq

(But I am for a) too. It's easier in a tight labor market, of course.)

This is key difference between a) raising wages by raising minimum wage to, say, $12 and b) raising wages to $12 through tight labor market. With b) employers try to bring workers in from sidelines (eg handicapped/ex-felons) because they're actually worth $12. Not so with a), no?
